How accurate is the data?
We pull live precipitation readings from NOAA National Weather Service stations tied to your ZIP code. Coverage is strong across South Carolina. If your area falls between stations, we use the nearest available reading.
What plants are supported?
Our library includes warm-season grasses common to South Carolina such as Bermuda, Zoysia, and St. Augustine, along with flowers, vegetables, shrubs, and native plants. We add more every week based on user requests.
How do I get the daily email?
After you create your account and finish the short setup, Palmetto Rain starts sending a morning email with your watering recommendation. You choose the delivery time in your settings.
Is it really free?

What ZIP codes are supported?
Palmetto Rain is currently focused on South Carolina ZIP codes, where NOAA weather station coverage is well suited to our approach. If your ZIP is not recognized, reach out and we will look into adding support.
